Hello Again

Hello again. It’s me Connor. I thought I would check in and give everyone an update since it’s been nearly two weeks. Dad, Mom, and I have been very busy since my first message.

I now know what my full name will be. Mom and Dad talked about middle names and they decided on one that Mom thought of. My full name will be Connor Dane Larkin. I like the sound of it! Thanks Mom and Dad.

We made more visits to the doctors too. We had two appointments during the past two weeks. I had a full body ultrasound last week so the doctors could look at every part of my body. They told us that they saw no problems with any part of my body or organs. Mom and Dad even got to see all four chambers of my heart. The doctors took more pictures of me and measured many parts of my body. They want to monitor my growth and to try and keep my due date current.

Everyone still agrees that I am due on Sunday April 12, 2009. Hey, that’s Easter Sunday!! That would be so cool to be born on that day. Dad and Mom are real excited about that possibility too. I will try my best to do my part.

We get to take a break from doctor appointments for about three weeks. After that we will have three visits within a period of two weeks. I heard during our last visit that I get to have more pictures taken of me during two of those appointments. I will make sure to pass them along.

The work continues on my nursery. Tomorrow we have a trip planned to the paint store to get the paint for the walls and ceiling. I get to have three different colors of paint, plus wallpaper too. Dad thinks he will have the painting finished this weekend.

I need to take a nap now, so I have to go. I promise to add another update real soon.

Hello all! Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Connor, or it will be as soon as I am born. Right now the doctor says that will be April 12, 2009. I sure hope they are right, and I am on time, because I want to meet my parents and family!

My Dad and Mom are named Jackie & Diedre. They found out about me during the first week of August. Dad was away on a fishing trip, so Mom found out first. When Dad came back, on August 8th, Mom met him at the boat dock and drove him home. When they got home Mom told Dad about me. Mom was nervous but Dad was so excited to hear about me that I think she was surprised.

About two weeks later Mom, Dad, and I went to the doctor to find out more about me. I feel really special because my doctor has a bunch of extra training and experience with Moms and childbirth. Her name is Dr. Ramos. The first time we went to meet her she took a picture of me. I was really young then, and didn’t even look like a baby, but Dr. Ramos said Mom was for sure pregnant with me. That’s when we found out that I am due to be born in April.

We have been back to see Dr. Ramos many times since then. Usually we go about once a month. We also got to go to some other Doctors. They checked me, and Mom, to make sure we were both OK. The Doctors said all of the tests they did told them that both of us are fine. They also took some pictures of me. I am starting to look like a baby now. One of the tests the Doctors did had a part in it that told them if I was a boy or girl. Mom really wanted to know bad because she had a bet with Dad about that. Mom WON!!!

Even though nobody can tell Mom is pregnant yet, she and Dad have told everybody about me. Both families, and everyone at Mom and Dad’s work, know about me. Piper, Snoop, and Peggy know about me too! Everyone was surprised, but very supportive. I will have one brother, two grandmothers, two grandfathers, one uncle, three aunts, and lots of cousins.
